In the past I have downloaded movie trailers and then imported each one into a nerovision project and burned them to a disc. No problems. What I am doing now is ripping just the trailer file from dvds to hard drive and then make a compilation disc. I can import the first one just fine but when I try to add a second trailer file I get the following error: The window is called : Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library Message in window: Runtime Error. R6025 Pure Virtual Function Call As I said, I can add the first file no problem, and even additional downloaded files, but get this error when trying to add another file that has been ripped from a dvd. I am using CloneDVD2 to copy the trailer files to my hard drive. Any ideas?
You have determined it is only with the files you make yourself that the problem arises? If you download normal trailers, like from the Nero site, they will all go into NVE 3 without the error? If so, I would have to think there is something about the files you are using. Try holding the mouse over them on the editing page in the asset window to see their specifics, such as resolution and frame rate, etc. Maybe something there will lead you to the problem.
All downloaded files import just fine. It's files from dvds. I usually use Nerovision with AnyDvd to convert PAL dvds to NTSC. I just stick the disc in the drive, import the files, make menu, burn. No problem. If I import a trailer file from one dvd, no problem. If I then try to add the trailer file from a second dvd I get the runtime error I mentioned in my original post. If I rip the trailer files to the hard drive and try to import them into Nerovision, same thing. First one imports fine, the second I get the runtime error. What is a runtime error? In any event it's preventing me from combining files from different dvd discs into a project. As long as all the files are imported directly from the same disc, no error.
I'd like to adsd that I get the runtime error when I try to add a second file from the same dvd if I don't do it when I import the first. EX: select and import just one file(trailer) from a disc. Save project. Select another file(trailer 2) from same disc or try to import the same file a second time and I get the error.
I may have a lead on the problem. The files I'm getting the runtime error when trying to import are progressive from the top. I can import one but that's it. All files that are progressive from bottom or just progressive I can add all I want. Mixing isn't the problem because I can't add two progressive from the top even if they are the only ones. This make any sense to anybody?
This may not be the answer but if you can post a Nero history log, from here Nero 6 history log location: Program Files>Ahead>Nero>NeroHistory.txt Nero 7 history log location: Program Files>Nero>Nero 7>Core>NeroHistory.tx someone can examine it to see if there is a problem.
I am getting this exact same error messsage: The window is called : Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library Message in window: Runtime Error. R6025 Pure Virtual Function Call But I only get it when I click the links on the bottom of Nero smart start (the configure link and the neroProduct Center link). Anyone know how to fix it without un/reinstalling or have an explanation why this is happening? Thanks
