How do you insert an audio clip to the menu background. In BACKGROUND of the MENU EDIT the audio clip is listed and I can highlight and play it but can't get it to add to the menu. It would seem that highlighting it would add it just like highlighting a picture for the background automatically adds it, but I guess not. Can you insert both a background picture and audio or just one or the other? Is it a setting I need to change?

You can do both. When you select it, it should pop up and prompt you to point to the file.

Here's what I am doing. In the EDIT MOVIE page I capture an audio clip from the movie as a NVE audio file. On the MENU EDIT page I select BACKGROUND. I browse my pictures for a background picture, click on it and add it as my background. Lower on the page is where you browse for audio files. I browse for the NVE audio file, open it and it appears in the list of audio files, I click on it, it highlights in blue. That is as far as I get. The audio file has not been added to the menu background.

Why not? You are doing it correctly.

You will not hear it if thats what you mean... Keep going and get to the preview screen where the virtual remote is and click preview menu animation or something like that.....

Then you will hear your file.

It's not there when you preview the automation either. I'd already checked that. The other automazations work(background video, buttons).
