Hey there.. i'm having a problem with NeroVision 3..
It seems that i'm unable to burn a dvd..
the source video file is mpg, i'm not gonna go into any details on what that is, but NeroVision is not burning it.. it seems to transcode without problems.. but it won't finish transcoding and start burning..

would this have anything to do with me using System Restore yesterday?(I was forced to use that because some setting got b0rked and refused internet access.. I don't think that the system restore would be the the problem because i've had NeroVision installed for a few months..

    I'm using NeroVision 3.1.0.7

I'm thinking about getting the new Nero7 and NeroVision4... but I heard there were alot of problems with Nero7?

P.S., I only turned the priority down to Very Low so I could load up firefox.. it seems to take forever if nerovision is on Normal priority, but 2seconds when on Very Low :)

Does anyone have any ideas on how to fix this, or perhaps any reviews on nero7
    Cheers!

Nero7 has a host of problems that I never noticed with 6. My advice, stick with 6.

    Hi HsoKinees
Stick w/ Nero 6 for now.
The version you are using though could use an update. Since you're having problems uninstall Nero (write doen your serial # 1st)- run the clean tool - then install this version:
    http://ww2.nero.com/nero6/enu/General_CleanTool.html

    Package 1
    http://httpdl1.usw.nero.com/software/Nero6/Nero-6.6.0.18_no_yt.exe

    Package 2(recode & vision)
    http://httpdl1.usw.nero.com/software/Nero6/NVE-3.1.0.21_no_yt.exe

Try that and let us know how that goes - good, bad or otherwise.

    Hey there XD
last night I uninstalled nero&vision, cleaned the comp, then reinstalled them..
I burnt a dvd earlier today, that burnt and plays without any problems, however, the second dvd I burnt apparently failed, but it seems to play on a dvd player without problems...

any idea what it means by "failed" ?

    Hey HsoKinees
If the burn failed close to the end still might be playable all the way thru. I've had them fail - some still played but guess what didn't get the end usually ;)

    What was the error message?
Burn failures - likely culprits can be: burn speed, media used and firmware not up tp date on the drive or a combo of all.

You can post that log if you like -
    You can find them here:
If using Nero 6: program files>ahead>nero>nerohistory

Just be sure to edit out the serial # - they begin w/ 1A,1C or 5C.
Post the last one that failed.
The logs are separated by something like this:
    ====== *** Nero-Burning Rom, History File *** ======
