nerovision

    when using nero vision to convert avi to dvd what format does it convert it to..presently i am using divxtodvd and then burning with shrink and never had a problw watching it on my dvd player.however i used nero vision for the first time and i was unable to view it on my dvd player.any help plaese

    It may not be the fault of Nero, it may be the format of the disc, some players will not look at +R format, some dislike-R format but the majority of standalone players will accept DVD-ROM

    its the same discs ive been using for all my movies dvd-r sonys.does nero format mpeg2,3,4? or just dvd

    Nero handles those mentioned, no need to convert when using NVE however the converted files from Nero may not be compatable which I find unusual.

    Do you have it set to burn as NTSC or PAL? That could be your problem. The other program may be encoding to PAL, while Nero's default is NTSC.
