net10 nokia 1600 unlock

I have a nokia 1600 phone from Net10, bought in USA. Is it possible to unlock this phone? I heard elsewhere that it is useless to do so, since there is an embedded minute counter that would need to be worked around. TIA

 

any phone can be unlocked two methods to do it codes or cables codes are what we do here cables arent...

hmm...... net 10 havent heard of that company....is it a small company or somethin?

does a larger operator own this small company and just operates under the name net 10?

TRACFONE / NET 10 networks

We can not unlock phones on Tracfone / Net 10 network.

To get the phone unlocked you will have to de-brand the phone with OEM software then unlock it. (at the same time) When this has been done Tracfone / Net 10 will no longer work in the phone.

 

Net10=Tracphone methinks? Although the package only refers to Net10.
