Netflix audio and video out of sync

I just got a vontar mini android box and the video and audio are out of sync on netflix. It is fine in other apps like kodi and youtube. I read that you could change the app's audio settings to fix this but could not find the audio settings within the app. I called netflix support to ask about this and was told they didn't recognize the specific android box so they could not give a solution. Has anyone else had this problem? Does anyone know how to fix it?
