Netflix is coming to the PS3

This seems pretty nice especially since you need to pay for a Gold Membership on live to get that service.

 

Sweet...Iv been waiting for this. No more borrowing the 360 from my roommate to watch movies.

Edit: oops I guess I was wrong my bad you do need the disc to run netflix

 

talked to netfliks today and yes you need the disk for it to work. next year they say they wil may have an app u can download for it or firmware update that will have it but for now you need the disk. and what the big deal with haveing to put a disk in? its free and u keep it for ever. it has the software u need to run netfliks on the ps3. and thats why u need it couse it has the software.

I’ve read that MS has a deal where they are the only one that can have Netflix on the XMB. This is a workaround as it used the BluRay Live feature to access the net. Read that November the 18th ends the 1 year exclusive contract that MS has with Netflix.

 

um how would ms have that deal, bc there is no xmb on the 360

I would assume that after November 18th next year, we will be able to launch NetFlix from the XMB (Like the 360 does from the DASHBOARD) instead of using the Disk.
