can someone help me? i have a netgear router, also have crossover cable,and modded xbox. i hooked the crossover from the router to the xbox, the xbox tells me no conn. can be found. how do i get a conection, and once i get the conection will i beable to share stuff between xbox and pc? please help.. thnks
yes once you get both the PC and Xbox set up correctly you can share (FTP) things back and forth. here are a bunch of tutorials you can read on how to set it up to FTP, HOw to set up connection sharing, and all that. http://www.teammodders.com/viewforum.php?f=45 It is really just a matter of making sure you Xbox has similar settings as far as the network as the PC does. ok thankyou , im gonna try what the 2nd link says to do. but if i share the ip will i only have 1 connection? or will both be on at same time?
sharing the connection you will have 2 I is your standard internet connection, the other a LAN connection used by the Xbox or other wireless stuff like a laptop.
