Network Bridging for Xbox

I want to start bridging for xbox live and I have a SMC700VBR router that my xbox and cable modem is plugged into, but I have no idea how to bridge my connections and someone told me to try using the Zone Alarm program to block IPs, but the only version i could find was the trial version that did not offer the traffic list so I could block the IPs connecting to me. can someone please help?

 

you need to find a p2p file sharing program that will let u download the full version i recomend ares.

yo just go to google type in commview and get there latest version

 

You only get the trial version not the full version and do u need to do anything with ur pc or just connect to xboxlive and start deleting IPs

you never answered my question! i can download commview, but do I need to bridge anything or is it just fine how it is with my router setup? also, will commview allow me to force host or do i need anothe program for that?

 

no it forces host ! if u r using a router u know u cant use a cross over cable

can you teach me how to setup commview to force host. So far, I have a crossover cable connected to my pc and that bridged with my wireless connection. I also have a router and could run my xbox through it, and would prefer to it that way if that is possible. I have aim and msn, aim is asubigrob.

 

hey i really want to know how to bride but the ppl i know on xbox live are really big jerks and wont help me, and niether will my brother and hes really good with computers. So im all alone and i need some help to figure out this. All i really want to do is give host to some of my bridger friends, but i also want to b able to recieve host from them and lag the other team out. I think i need a program named commview to force host and a program named zone alarm to lag them out.But im confused about how to set this up, and how to do this. I have a router which i go on xbox live with so i need to kno what i need to get and how to set this up. My friend started network bridging the other day and its pretty cool. I plan on doing mine sometime soon his gamertag his derocks09 and we boosted him up to a 49 and my gamertag is stevo2424 im a 36 legit in team slayer and a 33 in double team because my friend game me host and i standby'd well anyway you need i pci card i think he calls it, a crossover cable, commview, and you will need zone alarm, he can kick people out of the game and team standby and more it is pretty cool!
