Hello, I need to get an advise. I have purchase cell phone in Canada - Nokia 6103 (Rogers AT&T - network GSM 850/1800/1900). I want to use the phone in Europe (Slovakia - network GSM 900/1800/1900). The phone is unblocked and it is supposed to use automatic switching between bands. However, the phone couldn't find an operator automatically and also when I tried to search for network manually. Can you please give me some advise what to do so I can use phone in both countries? Thanks in advance.

It could be that the Networks in your ares are using 900Mhz. You will have to ask for thier Coverage Map.

Thanks for the message. I just want to clarify something - what do you mean by the coverage map? Because I'm in the capital city where both operators (orange & t-mobile) have the best coverage in the whole country.

You will have to ask the networks what Band they use where you are.
In Europe, I think one can safely say that they tend mostly to use the 900Mhz band.
You will ned to ask them in what areas you will get 1800Mhz Band service. The map.
