Hey guys, i have a question! I was trying to network a friends printer into their home network, so all computers could print to one central location. They have 2 laptops(wireless networked) and two desktop(1 connected directly to router, other wireless) computers. The computer connected to the printer doesnt have service pack 2 installed, though, the problem starts here. Apparently, all computers use to be able to print to /that/ printer, but, now, only one laptop does, and the computer connected to the printer does. I tried to configure everything, i even got the network to show under the "Browse for Printer" box, but, i couldnt get the computer attachted to the printer, to show, while i was trying to configure it from the laptop. Sorry, if this is a little confusing, but, im trying :/ Ok, so, what should i do? Should i install Service pack 2 on the computer thats connected to the printer? Or not? Are there any other solutions? I would really appreciate any input!

    Take care,

    Hi there :)

I had a simillar issue with my printer and networking the computers to print off the one printer.

To get around that what i did was dragging the installed networked printer to the computer accessible to the network and if it asked me to install driver i would put in the disc and install the drivers again sometimes it becomes stale and u have to just reinstall the drivers.

    See what happens from there....
