NETWORKING PROB

    OK! I HAVE d-link router ,now i dont know if it can be used to share file wireless--anyways.

    i have A DLINK ROUTER a labtop a psp xbox 360 and a desktop i need all of these to be able to connet to the router and share file ect.

    the problem is i can only do internet connection and only the xbox360,the labtop and the desktop can connect when ever i try to connect the psp is does not work second of all ican share file thro the network.

    my labtop and desktop are both connecter to the router wireless, but the xbox is connected with a ethernet cord. so basically help!!!!!!!!!!!!

    First try just connecting the PSP. Also, do you know if the PSP is getting an IP address? I don't know much about the PSP - you'd probably have to look under "Networking" or similar - but if you log into the router and look under LAN or Status it should tell you.

    I really can't make out your post so please repost and write the problems specifically and clearly.

    Connecting the PSP and seeing if it will connect to the net or if it will get an IP address is just a first step in determining what it's doing.

    Don't know much about them myself.. The one occasion I had the opportunity to mess with one we found in the settings menu a section to do with network connections. Playing with it in the shop we did find a live wireless connection from somewhere and got it connected. It seems to depend whether the wireless router is set static or dhcp..and then you either need an anonymous connection or a user login. It's basic networking, not exactly rocket science.
