Hi all Im trying to set up a home network so i can share my files and printer with two wireless pcs in the house I will give you as much info as i can but this all a bit new to me all 3 are using xp all firewalls turned off all have staic ips linskys router wired pc (to the router)can look and use the files on the 2 wireless pcs the 2 wireless pcs can look and use the files between them both wireless pcs can not find the wired pc even though it can find them!! hence my problom as the wired one has the printer and the majorty of the files to share on it Thanks in advance for any help bri
make sure that the cpu in question has it's network settings tweaked to allow external cpu's to find it (options available under the control pannel to my knowledge
Have looked around in the options in control panal and can not see any thing there which will help. Iam just hoping its a box that needs ticking someware Bri
