Ok peeps i need a little help networking XBMC so i can stream news and weather, any help would be Great!!!
Well if my Xbox is connected to the internet then the Weather and News are automatically updated. Go into your Network settings and make sure under Assignment it says "Automatic (DHCP)" and it should automatically detect your internet connection.
Cheers mate, the problem iv got is iv got a BT home hub that i only use for FTP'ing, and it don't have an internet connection running through it as im running my internet through a NTL cable modem, is there a way to link the two together so i can network my box???????
Well if there is an uplink port on it I suggess connecting your modem into that port and then your computer and Xbox into one of the other ones.
