as the title says maleware bytes doesnt clean my system like it always has in the past. i had problems even getting into safe mode and for an hour i couldnt even get malewarebytes to open. but after a while i finally opened malewarebytes and ran a 4 and a half hour scan which found 12 infections and quarantined them. now i have no problem opening malewarebytes and updating it so i pluged back into the net and updated it unplugged the ethernet cable and put it back in safe mode and ran another full scan. waiting for those results now but im thinking its not going to help so im asking for help before i go to sleep. heres a list of the problems im having... -when i start my pc a system error pops up saying msconfig caused system failure and if u close the box of click ok it restarts the pc. -also at start up a windows security center alert pops up saying it needs to enable protection against win32.netsky.q... it looked really legit and caught me off guard at first and i quickly clicked enable protection and it took me to a website to download perfect defender 2009. at that point i knew i was infected and closed everything. i opened a internet explorer window to search about perfect defender 2009 and instead of going to my webpage it has my homepage address in the address bar but the page is a windows look-a-like waring page saying im not safe and to enable protection i need to download perfect defender 2009. my pc is pretty screwed up i can only imagine how it would be if i was gullable enough to download that program hahahahaha but im in deep enough to need help out. if anyone can help me please take the time to do so its all about karma i try to help people when i can on forums so that when i need help hopefully someone will help me. thanks if you even took the time to read this far. happy holidays
