My four month old TV is wrapping at the top. What I meen is that the top six inches of the screen is black and two to three inches under that appears to be folded over. If text is displayed on the screen it appears upside down and backwards in this area. This is a NTSC/PAL tv and it only does this with NTSC channels, but evan PAL is starting to get fuzzy at the top. PLeas help if you can, Hitachi customer service is just giving me the run around

That sucks. This is only one of many reasons I would never buy a projection display. Sounds like you need a serviceman to get his hands dirty. Unless Hitachi stops acting a bitch and sends someone to fix their fuckup, you may have to pay a pro to fix it. Sorry for your troubles. Nothing worse than a brand new tv with display problems. Good luck.

Crap, I was hoping it would be something simple, I guess it never is though. HItachi customer service is just screwing with me cause I live in germany, bought the tv from a US store in germany but the tv was made in china, so each countries customer service people tell me I need to contact customer service in one of the other countries. Guess I just need to call a repair guy and pay out of pocket for the repair. This is my last Hitachi product period.
