new 80gb ps3

Hi i recently had a problem with my 40gb ps3 the discs just stopped working in it.it was the third time this happened to me but each time the shop swapped it for a brand new one straight away.it happened again yesterday and the lad in the shop told me that it had been named the faulty gig by the lads in the store.he gave me the new 80gb in exchange for the broken 40.are there any diffrences in this one except oviously the memory.because all i got was the computer no paperwork or anything.
