some games out now have the new anti-piracy software on it, like C.O.P the recruit and rayman raving rabbids go home. this will certainly slow the backup community down. any fixes for these backups? there just the first of many.
Coming out? It's already been here: Mario and Luigi: Inside Bowser and Combat of Giants: Dragons to name a couple. I don't think any of the flashcarts play Combat of Giants: Dragons yet.
That's not the point. The point is that with Combat of Giants: Dragons they have established that they have an anti-piracy measure that's much more difficult (never say impossible) than any others. If they find it effective, they will just give it to all the other developers to implement.
According to several sources I've read, Acekard can run Combat of Giants: Dragons with the AKAIO firmware. Which means that it can be beat, it's just a matter of when the other cards will update to fix it.
Is the AKAIO firmware official Acekard or third party? I am a dedicated Team Cyclo fanboy but I am rapidly gaining new respect for the Acekard team.
The game runs fine on emulators and works partially on some flashcarts. There are alot of people who want to play it, so alot of hackers are working on the problem. I give it maybe 48 hours before it is cracked. Just be patient. As for Combat of Giants: Dragons, if anyone was interested in playing the game then more cards would have cracked it by now as well. Few people are going to spend time fixing a problem that no one cares about.
