I here there is a new cable box soon to be unleashed on the Uk market the all new (eurovox) Blade cable box is set to make a come back sometime in the coming months lets see what sort of a dent it can put in the market place i wonder will it be as troublesome as the other boxes we have at the present time with missing channels servers down etc and this is for all boxes

As they are all now going to be going same route ie C/S over the net one wonders if this is a trial and error for them all as its nothing new to the Sat guru's who have been running Sat C/S for a long time now but with anything new its in its infancy so trial and error will be order of the day iAm sure however when cable C/S is as old as Sat share it will be just as good but for the present time ups and downs on all cable boxes is going to happen some more than others nature of the beast i suppose

Lets just wait and see what the new box has in store for us all then judge it

I wonder if they will offer the service to Irish punters, thats a market with no one in it and they could wipe the floor if they do,

well the UK has the SV, Krypt, DDIGITAL, combo etc - Ireland has nowt, so if they decided to set up here, they would clean up even in the main cable areas such as Dub for a start and progress from there, they would have the main edge over anyone else who may follow, Ireland is a clean market, no competitors

I think you will find that after N3 krypt never came back into the irish market so pre n3 it was the top dogs of boxes you will find a lot of people bought Sv6 box after N3 arrived in Ireland only to be stuck with door stoppers after people been warned NOT to buy them and low and behold the same thing has happened in the Uk now as well Sv gone and lots more people left with door stoppers and the Krypt is ticking away no problem.

So as for Krypt v Sv no contest really only cable box working in the Uk now.

Not entirely true, there are modest numbers of private servers running.
Although admittedly KV is more public.

On a footnote, if KV decided to supply the irish market would you recommend them to purchase one or avoid.

Regardless of which they buy, surely all have the possibility of becoming "Door Stoppers"

well if you look at the record of them in the UK, its a good indicator of how good or bad they are, so I would recommend em if they set up and set up correctly, Private servers dont really come into play as you cant really connect to em or give a review of em as, well they are private and good on em to for keeping it like that.

Any of these methods can go anytime, from cable to sat shares
