new blank cds not recognized

    hi gang

    when i try to burn cds with easy media creater suite 9 the cd keeps
    getting rejected and then the software wants a new blank cd and it
    is a new blank cd..what can i do?thanks..

    the cd is cdr 52x 80 minates 700 mbs

    try using this software cdburnerxp pro its freeware http://cdburnerxp.se/ another thing you may want to do is update your software and try a different cdrw drive in case yours is going bad.

    easy media creator... that's one of those nasties that installs it's own aspi drivers? Last time I saw it it managed to break a perfectly working and burning system.

    first thing to do is get rid of what sounds like a broken application.. and I would install imgburn (now does audio cd's from what I hear).. or failing that dbpoweramp .. then uninstall the burner in device manager and let windoze find it again.. should be good to go.

    the cd burner is ok.....it just didnt work with roxio..im considering
    buying a nwew software sold in stores(i just donr want to use a cre-
    dit card....thanks

    Ben there are many freeware programs now that perform all or more duties than Roxio or Nero take up less space on your Hard Drive and perform equally or better, No CreditCard required, here is one link http://majorgeeks.com/page.php?id=20 scroll through it see what might be of interest to you most all these programs work with XP & Vista you can also surf through AfterDawns software listings for some great offerings and most visitors here leave reviews & comments.
