Hi everyone, I have got hold of a digital reciver. The make model is: SCLASS HD 8899 MAX, Can someone please confirm if this is a openbox, or a clone of open box s10. I have reset it to factory default. I would like to update the firmware, but do not know which file to use, i heard if i use wrong one i can "brick it" , Ps. how do i upload picture of box to this message, pressing add image button doesnt work Thank you
After seeing your photo's of it on another forum it looks more similar to an Opticum firmware than an Openbox. Both are Ali also. Can you not mess about with the existing firmware on it and see if you can enter your line etc.?
Thank you for your reply, will give it ago other problem i have is i plugged in an exterbnal usb so i can do i backup, first time it detected it , know the box wont detect usb at all, i have tried a disffernt usb also ?
