I had a problem with a computer that I just built. It was rebooting as soon as it came on (approximately 2 sec.). Come to find out it had something to do with the usb and the firewire connections. I disconnected the usb and firewire cables from the mobo and now the computer is staying on. But now my screen is blank and nothing is coming up. I uninstalled and reinstalled my video card and still nothing. I had uninstalled and reinstalled everything and I am still getting the same results. I even tried to use another monitor. I am having a feeling it has to be the mobo. Due to the fact I was having issues with it at the beginning when I first installed everything. Any suggestions?
    Thanks!

Is the CPU power connector (not the motherboard or the graphics card one) plugged into the motherboard?

Which 700W Power supply are you using?

Yeah it's connected. I am using Ultra 750 watt power supply. The previous power supply was replaced due to inactivity.

What were these 'issues' you had at the beginning?

Yeah, the board should probably be replaced for that. Sorry, I briefly glanced at that when I first read the post.
