Hey, I am looking to build / upgrade my computer. basically i just want to find out if

for one, these parts will work but also if there are cheaper places to buy them. I am

currently on an alienware i got a few years back but looking to upgrade. I am going to

be upgrading my power supply, case, motherboard, RAM, and processor. I am keeping my 2

    video cards (Nvidia 8800 and 8600) and 250 and 150 gig hardrives. I currently have 4 1

gig sticks of RAM but the motherboard I'm looking at takes DDR3 and I have DDR2. My

budget is about $900 so I'm trying to work with that. Down the road I will probably

save up and get 2 Nvidia 9800s and run SLI but untill then I will stick with what I

    have.

these are the parts i was looking at

    Motherboard - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813128375

    Power Supply - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817341002

    Case - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811103011

    RAM - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820145220

Any suggestions on if it will work or cheaper places to buy would be great
    Thanks

The Build looks great can I have your old alienware case....lol I have always loved thier cases all they need are wheels and a steering wheel. I did check the prices on Pricegrabber.com looks like Newegg has a good deal with all those rebates, and as far ans the egg I have always gotten my rebates. There is another disccusion going on you might want to peek at http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/771030 another senior memeber Knuck1ez posted a very impressive set of specs for a new build there, I think it might help guide you and here is a link to computer shopper they posted 3 possible builds for people on a budget naturally these provide great guidance you can tweak each to your own desires and needs. http://computershopper.com/feature/build-a-budget-pc-250-500-or-750
