Sony HX5V or Panasonic TZ10 or is there another competitor?
I want it to replace my old camcorder aswell

The TZ10/ZS7 blows the HX5V out of the water. I sell both these cameras and i've compared them side by side. The sony gives a yellow/redish tinge to the pictures, while the panasonic remains crystal clear. Unless you want to move up to the mirrorless cameras like the Olympus E-PL1, I suggest staying with your ZS7 compact superzoom.

Almost any camera you could want is reviewed and compared on that site. It should be a lot of help

Thank you for posting that link. I think I'm in love with a Canon I'm looking at :D
