Hi guys, Im starting to have some issues with my DVD player. Besides a few problems here and there I also have a new LCD TV that supports HDMI, so of course to get the best possible picture I need to upgrade anyway. My question is,...should I purchase a new DVD player for a few hundred dollars, or would it be better to wait and hope the Blu-Ray players play DVD's as well? I understand 200 dollars isnt a ton of money, but by the time I purchase a monster hdmi cable for 75-80 dollars, it would be nice to apply that money to something that isnt outdated in 6 months. Also, the dvd players i was trying to decide between are these: Sony DVP-NS70H or the SONY DVP-NS90V. The price is almost the same, but I cant tell what the difference is. Thanks guys for the help. I appreciate it.

If you're waiting for the Blu-Ray: Buy an el cheapo cyberhome dvd player from walmart. It plays pretty anything you put in it and it'll last you until buying a Blu-Ray player seems more realistic.
