New dvd reader

    I purchased a new samsung dvd reader today the problem that im having is when i go into to bios to change it to primary slave
    it does not seem to recognise the drive.
    any ideas would be great :)

    You don't change it in the BIOS. You change it with the jumper on the drive, itself
