New Encryption?

I just purchased Doom and was anxious to make a back up using the new FujiFilm DVD-R media. However, no matter what copy program I used, DeFab, Shrink, Decrypter, and no matter what CSS background remmoval I used in the background (DVD43, Slyfox, DVD Region+CSS Free) it would not rip the entire movie. When it got to VTS File 1.4 the reader would slow down and stop. DVD Shrink read something like cyclonic redundancy error. Wow!

 

After looking dumbfounded at your question and tossing aside a dozen suggestions for how I could be snarky in a response, I'll make it simple:

yes, there is a new type of encryption be used on some movies. I dont belive there is a sure fire way around it yet. just to answer the question.

 

Thank you trigga71 for your response to my question, straight forward, to the point, and answers the QUESTION, unlike other responses. Anyway, I downloaded a new "run in the backbround" decryption and it worked and I was able to back up my moive. Thanks again.

Also, I ripped Doom with AnyDVD and CloneDVD2 with no trouble at.

 

Some people just don't seem to take the hint. Even when they're slapped upside the head with it.
