hi all, Im New to this and just bought a EUROVOX EX5000 PVR and comes on saturday and would like to know what i have to do when it comes if anyone could reply and give me a easy setup guide would be great help Thanks.
I'm a newby, and only got my EX5000 PVR yesterday, and having followed the advice form the forum have successfully got the channels; Just make sure you do a "Power Scan" rather than follow the instruction book which says to do a "Fast Scan", which didn't work. First Flash the box thro your computer, then attach to your cable line. read through this thread: http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/681817; you need to flash it with 1.1a firmware, which is available from the emos link at the bottom of one of the Tech Guys' posts (eg: sc0user) Good Luck!!

got it all setup and looking at channels, cant find sly sportz newz and was wondering if you can get it? also is there a way i can change the favs around I.E fav titles.... Last Q how often do i need to update?
You wont get it in the UK. You can change FAV names in channel manager. Updates are released when required, not that often.
