ok so i went and bought a new eurovox and it arrived today only 2 days from england i have been looking around the forums and i found this for updating the eurovox http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/653745 my main question is do i do this method for a brand new box or do i have to use another method the make is the eurovox max v 2008 if that makes a difference

thank you scouser i've tried peats and maplins looking for null modem cables aparently they are in high demand recently can you recommend any other places to go and try aquire one
Other than them places and if you are not in a hurry try fleabay, may take a day or two for delivery but much cheaper. Where are you based roughly?
i'm live in tallaght I got another question for you my laptop doesn't have a 9pin slot to connect a null modem cable is it possible to get a usb/9pin cable
