New Firmware Update from 3.3U with HBC and Backup Launcher

    Hello,

    I haven't been on the Wii scene in a long time so I'm afraid that I'm a little behind. I looked online for the answer but all the new terminology kind of confuses me. But here goes:

    I have a Wii currently on 3.3U firmware and I also have the Homebre Channel installed with Wii Gator 0.3 Backup launcher. I recently tried to play a newer game on my Wii, but it wouldn't start up. I probably need to update my firmware to the newest one.

    Now my question is this: If I update my firmware, will the backup launcher still work? If so, what procedure should I go through to update my Wii?

    Install cIOS38_rev14

    Update to 4.1 firmware using normal method.

    Run IOS Downgrader.

    Install IOS60Patched.wad (Using WAD Mnager).

    Uninstall WiiGator 0.3 and install NeoGamma R6.

    All of the files can be found by doing a search (use google).
