now may not be the best time to buy, but i just wanted to see if anyone could give me some reviews of their recievers so i can decide which one to buy in the new year. Looking at eurovox ex5000 or equivelent boxes. Had d-box and eurovoxes wondering wheather to try a different box out though. Anyone heard of a ITGATE box? i heard it has the best software on for updating?
Hi I have tried the Eurovox 5000 , good box but you can only record the channe you are watching, 1 tuner only, good at pausing live TV though. If you want dual tuner , record 1 channel whilst recording the other, then go for SV PVR this again has good time freeze function but is let down with slow EPG (may be fixed in next release).
