My Xbox is modded and i know it supports hard drive swapping.

    What i have done:
I bourght a brand new Western Digital 120GB IDE Drive for my xbox. I then followed all instructions on creating a evox boot disk. Every thing went fine and my new hard drive was installed.

But then i noticed that all the spare space was on the F partition and i wanted it on the C partition i read a few sites and finnally after half an hour of looking around i found one that claimed i could do it. I followed the instructions but it didn't work, i just kept getting a message come up on the screen, i cant remember what it is and i can't find out again because instantly i started the whole process again.

I put the evox boot disk in, created installed the drive and then copied the C + E files from my pc using smartFTP.

But for some reason when i take the disk out and reboot my Xbox, it boots fine but comes up with the same sceen as when you boot from the evox boot disk, what i mean by this is that the only 3 options i have are (Install New Drive)(Settings)and(Reboot) the same as what you get if you have the evox boot disk in. I have noticed that the background has changed to the one i previously had on my old hard drive which was the simpsons.

Does anybody know what i have done, or had the same problem?

I dont know much about this and i have tried for 2 nights to solve this problem but no luck which is why i am posting this message.

I thought it might have something to do with unlocking/locking the drive but i don't know.

Can some one please help and also inform me if it is possible to get the C partition to use most of the 120GB of space if not then its not a problem, but if some one could help me re install this drive then i would be most great full.

    Cheers

    Rick

Just about all programs use either the F or G partions, never the C partion for use. You're going to have alot more problems. It looks like you copied the wrong kind of evoX onto your HD. Transfer over all the regular evox files and overwrite them onto C.
