I downloaded the trial version of Nero 7 and I have been using it to burn avi files to DVD+R's. It burns it but the audio is ahead of the video and as it's playing it gets farther and farther apart. I also downloaded the update for Nero 7 and that hasn't helped. Any ideas? I'm desperate because I'm on a time crunch for these DVDs. GRRRR! Thanks for the help!
Try ConvertXtoDVD from VSO Software. For whatever reason that seems to be a problem with many .avi files. ConvertX will correct the audio synching problems automatically. Good Luck!
The avi files are all in sync, it's when they are burned that there is an issue. The files play fine in Window's Media Player but they are off when I play them using Nero.
I guess I should have been more clear. The loss of audio sync (in my experience) usually only happens when you are converting from .avi to DVD format. If you'll give ConvertXtoDVD a try, I'm sure you will find that it will fix your problem. I'm not a shill for VSO, just a satisfied customer. Good Luck!
