Will there ever be improved batteries for evry type of ipod because like most of the ipod posts say "low battery life" I experience the same problem so does anybody know if there will ever be a better battery for all the ipods?
I'm sure that as the new iPods come out, they will put in better, newer batteries, and will probably increase battery life, hopefully.
If i was apple i would make the battery more accesable to companies like best buy and others. This would be easier to upgrade the battery.
You may want to consider a battery pack for your iPod.. A new Belkin battery pack claims to increase your battery life by 300% (Gives you an additional 6 hours play time) Should ship by the end of the month to residents of the US and Canada. Have a look at a news article on it for more info - http://www.reghardware.co.uk/2006/03/22/belkin_tunepower_ipod/
Seems like a good product, but a bit steep at $80 bucks. Might be worth it, though. Kind of sucks that it can't be used with a silicone case on the iPod, so while using it, the iPod is suceptible to scratches and what not.
You could sitll use it with a clear plastic film protecting the iPod. It's not designed to be an attractive add-on, but to give you a decent video output before the battery dies.
Belikin also has another ipod battery add on the i prefer. It takes doubles AA. Great for plane trips but not very atractive either.
It is done by "AA" so really it i unlimited but it says it adds another 6 hours and stays on with a suction cup, its not stylish but its more practical to me.. that a lithium-ion.
Yea theres so many of those, I just wish that there's a good-looking one, those add on batteries take away from the ipod's thin design.
