    Hey Guys (and girls),
I don't know if this topic has been posted before however, I'd rather make a new post than search through over 80 pages of threads. Anyway, for Christmas, I got a new 80 gig iPod and I wanted to convert a few of my dvds to video iPod files. So I bought Nero because other people I have talked to have agreed of its excellent quality. I ripped the dvd with DVD Decrypter. First I tried to rip the whole dvd, then the IFO with no cuts. Each time I tried to convert it with Nero Recode 2 with these settings:
    160kbs Audio
    iPod Video (non AVC)
    recropped to 320/240 for size
    2 Pass Burning
    Quicktime Compatible (Simple Profile)
and then added the file to iTunes to sync to my ipod
THE RESULTS WERE ALWAYS THEY SAME!!! Each iPod file was either 1 or 2 kbits over 160. Then I tried lowering the audio rates. It still didn't work becuase after two of the movies that I wanted burned to the lowered rate the next went over 1 or 2 kbits.
Then I investigated about the direct Nero to iPod sync. When I tried to burn the file again with the same settings and then tried to sync it with my ipod that was already on manual settings...
THE PROGRAM JUST FROZE!!! And then in the log it said an error with trying to sync with the ipod. I have been going through this madness for days until I finally found this site.
    PLEASE HELP ME!!!!!! AHHHH!!!

Oh yeah, I've been using Nero to recode movies for my psp long before I got the iPod for Christmas, and it worked never fail, so I'm puzzled about my situation.
