l bought a new laptop last week it's a packard bell intel pentium duel core with 80GB hard drive and 1024 memory.Anyway l use it on Linsky wireless and when l first used it l got webpages up instantly. l have not downloaded or done anything to it yet but over the last few days it takes ages to get onto a webpage...any. l have a 90 day trial with norton security on the laptop but have not register with this yet and every time l boot up it asks me to register and l just click off it but l cannot see this being the problem can you. So has anyone any ideas why all of a sudden l am getting slow webpages the green bar at the bottom goes slow then stops and sometimes does not move. The wireless icon on the taskbar shows good access with 4 bars showing out of 5.Any help would be great.

Register Norton, update Norton and run a full system scan. Remove/Quarentie whatever it finds. Since you say you have not downloaded anything I am very certain you have numerous virus/spywares on your pc.

That speed test is way too low, what kind of internet connection do you have, ie. cable, DSL, satellite?

try scanning with kaspersky or avg. before scanning update.
if you dont find anything maybe your connection is unstabile. try browsing with firefox. he is a lot faster than internet explorer.
