I am about to buy a new LCD 42". Do i need to get one with 1080p to receive true HD or is 720p sufficient?.Is there a difference in quality between interlaced or progressive? Is there likley to be more increases in resolution in the near future? Any advice appreciated.
do not buy a 720p get a 1080i or 1080p that is true hd anything else just doesn't quite do it. Most cable providers are using 1080i however over air broadcasts like Fox use 720p.
