New LT firmware on the way w/SSv3 & anti-AP2.5

I have a flashed and non flashed xbox....Well basically i updated my non flashed to the new dashboard then tried to transfer the profile over via usb to update gamerscore for fable 3 from my 1.2 flashed consle and it wouldn't let me update so i then put the profile back on usb & saved files etc and formatted the hardrive & tried again and still no luck..anyways i put all the shit back on the hardrive and tried to play fable 3 again on my 1.2 and it said i needed the game update as i formatted it and lost it which i got back in october so i had no other choice but to update the 1.2 to the new dashboard so i could quickly get the gameupdate and log out but when finishing updating, it said disk was unreadable and i quickly logged out and found out now what the new dashboard does....hopefully when LT+ comes out i wnt be banned when logging in

 

I'm pretty new to this stuff so please don't be to hard on me .

So I got 2 XBOX 360's standing here, 1 normal (flashed), 1 elite (standard). I play with my Gamertag on the flashed xbox but with the hard drive of the elite one (swapped them).

So if I play Fable 3 on my my flashed xbox, and then swap my hard drive to my elite, then play online legal, will this then cause any problems for me?

Furthermore, is this Dashboard update installed partionally on the hard drive or completely on the system itself? Else I could update my legal elite, and just change hard drives if I want to play online, without recovering gamertags and so on.

And my last one..

I played COD: Blackops on my flashed xbox, some achievements are tracked, if I now grab my hard drive, put in my legal elite and I sign into live, would Microsoft recognize I got achievements for a game that hasn't been out? And if so, would it bann my legal xbox then? Because that would be totally sh*t..

I am right there with you. I was having disk read issues last week. So i pop open the ole xbox and clean the lens and the dvd spidle, put everything back in and FINALLY fable 3 would read again! woohoo. But wait... there is a system update..... hmmmmm well i do like playing online... the last update didnt do anything too me... f it!

Fable 3 reads and shows game photo in dashboard! w00t. Launching game... disk read error.... f my life. Try other games, they work! w00t.

I have 2 xboxes both flashed.. Not played any new games except saw 2 did the dash update on 1 and its now flagged according to Xval2.0 the other console not updated the dash not been online but have played fable 3 and Sims 3 and its not flagged.. Its definatly the dash update not the games that gets your console flagged for banning..

 

Is there a way you can tell you are actually flagged?

Not for sure. Download xval to check your secdata. If it's clean, doesn't mean it's not flagged on the server side.

i just wont do the update. If there is a game that i MUST play, i have a console that is GOING to get banned so i will play it there. For all the serious Pirates. have 3 consoles. 1 legit, cause some games are worth paying for. 1 for playing copies online and 1 that is going to get banned as soon as M$ sees it on its network, the last one is for early released, and unsafe games.

 

Anyone care to answer my questions on page 1?

there is a good possibility that your black op achievements could get your gametag banned, they would most likely not ban your console.

 

I can tell you havn't been on the xbox.com forum lately, they are banning accounts and/or machines all the time now for playing games early or for mods.

i have one xbox with a lite on drive flashed with latest ixtreme software, i updated to the new "kinect" dashboard offline with a usb flash drive. i played fable 3 for like 2 minutes offline and according to c4eva by doing that my console was flagged offline and when i go back online it will register with M$'s servers and eventually as every xbox that has been flagged, mine will be banned. I just wanted to ask to see if anyone has done the same but actually went online yet? And if so, did you get banned, flagged etc. I just want to know if i should go back online or not.

 

Ok, another question.... my console has been flagged. Does that mean if i use my gamertag on a legit console my gamertage will be banned as well as that legit console? or will it even let me move my gamertag over?

Well.. bitching about getting banned is never necessary because you won't get unbanned either way .

Still waiting for that LT+ firmware .. Just in case I bought Black Ops for my legit console.. But I'd like to play DJ Hero 2 online again, that's awsome .
