Hey, Just installed my magic-s chip on a v12 pstwo and am getting the dreaded black screen i think it could be two things 1) the wires are extremely long could this be a problem? 2) the chip came with two wires, there really more like thin metel rods uncovered with little tan beads in the middle i tried using these for the ground/3.3v wires with no luck any ideas? thanks
Hi These are more than likely diodes which were supplied for you to carry out the v12 laser fix. Try removing these and replace them with 20 awg wire for the ground and 3.3v. Try this and then do a search for the fix for the laser, i had the link but must have lost it
