I've never had this problem before today. But then again, I've never used it as much as today. I got a 17 inch hdtv monitor lcd for xmas. It's worked fine so far. But I've had them on both pretty much the whole day. And when I came back, my monitor was shaking up and down.

Some things I try to stop it:

1.) When I went into the xbox360 settings and changed it from 1080 to 720, it stopped. (But I can't do 720 because my screen shakes up and down "a little" when I do this. Barely "like a mm", But I notice it.) Then I changed it back to 1080, and it was fine. A little later, it started again. (But this only works sometimes)

2.) When I turn my xbox off for 5 seconds, then back on. My screen turns blue as it lost signal, then when it turns on again, It works fine again. Then later on, it does it again.... (the time it lasts varies)

3.) When I disconnect the cables from the tv, wait, then reconnect them, it works fine, then starts again.

4.) When I turn the tv off for 10 minutes, it works fine again, then starts up again. But it lasts a little longer than the rest.

Is my xbox overheating? Is my monitor overheating from hdtv so long? Is my hdtv function on it broken? What's wrong?

Try the xbox on a different tv. I think its the tv though. there would be no fix. The best thing to do would be to replace the set.
