New modem = no internet

    Hey everyone wondering if anyone's had this problem before but I just got a new modem from Verizon, 6100F. I've been using a Linksys router, WRT310N which has worked fine until today when I plugged in the 6100F. If I do that I lose my internet, but if I were to connect the modem directly to my computer, internet works fine. My router works fine with my old modem, any ideas?

    Try this. Turn eveythig OFF. wait one miniute. turn on your modem. Wait for it.....(about one minute), turn on your router, Wait for it....about one minute, turn on your computer. If this does not work you may need to bridge your modem.

    or disconnect data & power cable from wall to modem, count 15 then reconnect power & data in that order.
