I built a my computer a few years ago with a XFX nForce 790i Ultra motherboard, a Intel Core 2 Quad Yorkfield, Antec 850 watt power source, Radeon HD 4850, 2x2GB DDR3 240 pin G.Skill RAM, and some HDDs and a DVD burner. My computer was having problems with turning on for the longest time and then the other day I realized there was thermal grease on my CPU socket. In an attempt to get it off with my Arctic silver I bent the prongs on the board and it no longer works (but it wasn't in the first place). Anyways, I now need to find a new motherboard because newegg no longer sells my old board and other places selling it are selling it for outrageous prices.

I'm in need of a motherboard with specs similar to the nForce 790i. I don't need the SLI compatibility however. I desire the speed on the FSB and I NEED DDR3 compatibility. I also need an 8-pin CPU plug because the power requirements for the Core 2 Quad I have is 6 pins. All the boards I found on newegg are either 4 pinned or have horrible reviews. I don't want to buy a bad board I just want my computer back!
Another thing to note is my CPU socket is a 775, I need at least 1 PCI-E x16 and at least 1 PATA. I would prefer not to have on-board graphics but it doesn't matter.

Please any recommendations would be very appreciated! I need a new board fast and relatively cheap... Per se 50 - 150? Thanks in advance!
