Ok, are you ever likely to play games more demanding than this one? If you're not, you can build a relatively cheap system to handle this game. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819116072 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813128356 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820145590 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16822136073 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16827136152 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814161262 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817371005 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811129042
yes, ill be playing more demanding games, now that i think about it. The only highend game that i can think of atm would be crisis... a system that can play that smoothly would be able to handle these specs... right?
Crysis is one of the most demanding games ever made. If you want to play Crysis on high settings, this build needs revising. Let's make it easier. What size monitor do you use, and what's your maximum budget? That way I can spec the best possible PC in your price range.
That's US dollars, correct? Age of Conan is not quite as demanding as Crysis, but it's not far off. 1500-2000 dollars is plenty to build a PC assuming it's just the PC, and it's a fair bit even if that includes the monitor as well.
yes U.S. Dollars. I see. thanks very much. No, I don't plan to replace my monitor. But, a pc that can run crysis smoothly would be nice.
No problem on that budget. I will edit this post in a few minutes with a much more appropriate list of hardware Core 2 Quad Q9550 - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819115041 Freezer 7 Pro - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835186134 Gigabyte EP45-UD3R - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813128359 4GB Corsair XMS2 - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820145214 640GB WD HDD - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16822136218 Sapphire HD4870X2 - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814102768 22x LG DVD - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16827136152 NZXT Tempest - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811146047 Corsair HX 620W - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817139002 Audigy SE Sound card - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16829102002 Right this is a little under $1400, but has over $100 of mail in rebates.
