I been trying to rip a dvd to Avi so I can store in my External Hdd since I borrowed the dvd for a while, I tried to rip it With AnyDVD and Fairuse but It wont rip around 80% of the Scan it will say this Disc is protected etc etc. And I tried various dvds before and they all ripped flawlessly. Any Suggestions to getting this to avi?

    Movie: Bordertown

I hade problems with other similar dvds but this is the one im working on right now

My advice is try ripping with the latest dvdfabhddecryter (free version) if that can't rip it there might be some sort of problem with the dvd (scratced/dirty). Also if you have access to another dvd burner, try ripping it on another drive, some dvd burners have more power and capability of reading a slightly damaged dvd.

The reason I suspect it's a media problem is that it reads it fine up to 80 percent, then encounters problems on a specific section of the dvd.
