new ps3 online setup help

    Got a ps3 today an FiFa09
    set the ip address manualy on ps3 and set in dmz on the router
    it gets a conection ps3 gives me nat2 on the inernet settings
    conection works but when i try to play online it finds a ranked game then 9 times out off 10 it says onetion no longer avaiable before they start seleting a team or i get the laggiest game possible am i missing some thing
