I have this sony 26 in bravia lcd tv and it is great except for a image retention on the tv. also when I use the dvr the color goes a little light to dark like flashing. what causes this image retention and how do I get rid of it. I know that plasma has it but lcd tv. do I need to return the tv. My westinghouse lcd doesn't do this. any help ???

I had a 30 day warranty with Best Buy so I took back the tv. I can't have a new tv image sticking. It is annoying. the salesman said it was the slow processor but he hasn't seen it in awhile. so instead I bought a Samsung series 4 26 in so far it working out. if not I will take that back. why can't you sit down, turn it on and watch tv without any interference. thanks
just like with cars there are lemons occassionally. don't hold it against sony because of one bad experience. i've bought 2 sony tvs and never once had a problem.
