    Hi Newbie.

I have the same prob. I think it's the batteries.

I tried other sony rechargeable bats (800 mAh) and it does not rcognise, but for a minute, the sound was perfect.

Have you had any feedback from the company ?

    Cheers

Hello, well since i posted that, nope i havnt even e-mailed sony, but i soon got them working with out distortion! :)

In your system tray, if you have your sound icon, click on it, then find the wave settings, turn it very low but dont mute it. Seems to have sorted it for me :) hope it work for you good luck
