    Just to anounce SM 3.8 (coder)is now out which comes with a built in ARMAX.

    So is this a swap magic disc that has action replay built in with it? Or do you have to have any old Action Replay Max disc and this new swap magic 3.8 disc?

    I don't believe so. They just added the AR capability to it.

    yeah i had a look at that just wondering if you could use a backup of it but i cant see it working give it a few weeks it will find its self on the net we could have done with a dvd9 ver more that a cheat ver

    That is correct, Swap Magic Coder 3.8 does not use AR Max style codes. My question is though, can you use it [bold]together[/bold] with AR Max to boot backup games with cheats?

    When it says all versions of the PS2, does it really mean ALL versions?
    I just want to make sure before I buy.
    I have a slim 77001 I think...

    Two questions.

    Can I use this disc to load HDLoader from USB pen drive?

    If I'm loading programs from a USB device do I even need a slide card or will the disc work by itself? Given that I don't see a reason why you'd need to remove the disc to load programs from USB device.

    Does that go for the Swap Magic 3.6 Plus as well?

    You could use it to load hdloader, i could never find much info on loading through USB but yes you can. I think SM 3.6 can boot off USB as well.

    No fliptop or slidecard will be needed, but most likely it will come with one if you ever needed it...

    Kamahl,

    It should work for all versions. Make sure you ask for the Magic Keys and not the Slide Tool though.

    It doesn't seem to work when using it together with the Action Replay Max disc though...This is my problem here:
