Everyone in the old thread just keeps posting their problems. So far I have only seen 1 solution posted by jlavah. If anyone is willing to provide REAL unlocking information, i.e. subsidy passwords, then post your questions and answers here. Thanks

Unlock Your Phone for free in about 10 min: Follow these instructions (reposted) WHAT YOU NEED 1.the drivers for your computer http://rapidshare.de/files/17663496/USB_CHARGING_AND_SYNC.rar.html (these are good to have anyway as the v3 will charge via usb once u put them on your computer) 2. A program to write to your V3 http://thepiratebay.org/search.php?q=smartmoto 3. The free unlocker. http://rapidshare.de/files/17666949/Motorola_unlocker_2005_free.r... Collect all these, then follow these simple steps 1. First thing to do is to check your firmware. Turn your phone off. Hold down the * and # keys, and press the ON key. Should be a black screen displaying a few characters. If it says bootloader 7.D0 you are in luck. You only need to do steps 4, 5 and 10. 2. If it says 7.E0, or 8.23 you can go here http://rapidshare.de/files/13842811/R374_V3BL_07.D0.zip.html and grab the (unlockable) bootloader 7.D0. Then see step 4. 3. If it says 8.26 you will need the bootloader downgrader here http://rapidshare.de/files/13848110/scotty2_8.26_downgrader_v2.zi... There are instructions in that link 4. Put the 3 driver files on your hard drive (USBMOT2000.INF, P2K.INF, P2k.sys) 5. Turn your phone on. Connect it to your computer. Windows should recognise it and ask for drivers. Point it to the drivers u just put on. When it has finished, your V3 will charge via USB. 6. Run Smartmoto. Windows should recognise some extra parts of your phone and ask u for drivers. Point it to the same drivers. 7. Once Windows has finished installing these drivers close Smartmoto, and reboot your computer. Put the phone on flash. When windows has loaded again open up smartmoto. Connect your phone, and set the box in the top left of smartmoto to "computer USB Port". Hit the "search" button and smartmoto will find your phone. 8. click on PC Flash at the bottom left. Click where it says "browse" and find the R374_V3BL_07.D0.shx file from your harddrive. Click on "write flash" 9. When it is finished it will ask u if you want to flash another phone. Hit "no" and close smartmoto. Turn your phone off, and put it into flash mode once more. Don't worry if the flash screen now looks different - this is normal. 10. Now you can run the Motorola_unlocker_2005_free and this time it should work. When it has finished your phone should be unlocked!!
they do work, you just have to scroll down and hit free..... then enter in the verification code( to make sure ur not a bot downloading from the site) also make sure u have win rar to unzip the files, one of the files is a .tnt extention, so u can look on rapidshare.de and find search for a better one that you can open with win rar
All The files in there canot download after input 3 codes and hit download it say the files nolonger there... So please can you send the file to my email my bootloader version 8.26 Motorola V3 (ethan941.at.hotmail.com)
