AVI files are normally Xvid video with MP3 audio, if you wish to burn AVI files as data discs to view on DivX compatible standalone player no conversion should be necessary. You can check AVI file codecs with this app: http://mediainfo.sourceforge.net/en.

If you need to convert AVI files to DVD format to view on standalone player DVDFlick is a good app and free: http://www.dvdflick.net/. The DVD files will be much larger than AVI source files though.

Burn files with ImgBurn, comes with DVDFlick (if required), or here: http://www.imgburn.com/.

Instructions available on websites or use search box here.

    Hope that helps.
